Had an older coworker give me a few things today that he was no longer wanting while he cleaning out his home to downsize. He's already taken out the majority of his stuff but gave me these and a few more as he's still has to clean out what he wants of them.

Had some older craftsman, snap-on, and matco stuff in them along with some chinese stuff. Still have a small matco bottom box, shelves, cabinets and work bench to go get but needless to say I'm ecstatic. Worked a deal that I'll do some repairs to an older caprice for him and possibly some other stuff but I can't be more appreciative. At 21 I've got little money to get my first shop in order and all this stuff is really going to help. Anyone know the model of the snap-on?

I noticed it as soon as I opened it up. It's in great shape. I'm going to put it in my home box as my go to.

When you get situated, can you take some pics of the craftsman ratchet? You got a generous coworker

I meant to get some better pics of the ratchet specifically, but forgot in my time working. Here is a little bit better pic of it and some of the better items out of the waterloo. Matco breaker and 1/2 ratchet. Snap on box, with some 1/4 sockets, odd wrench. Few matco sockets.

Not one, but two RHFT ratchets?!? I've only ever seen one flex head ratchet like that. Grats!

What's the significance of the ratchets? I know they are older and the head design is different than most. But wasn't sure of the age or the rarity. This is the only flex head craftsman that I've really ever seen.

The RHFT ratchets are a dual pawl fine tooth design and probably the best ratchet Sears ever sold in my opinion. The RHFT flex ratchet is uncommon and brings big money on Ebay.

Well maybe I will let it go then. It's in great shape and if someone wants this for a collection then I'd rather let it go. I turn wrenches for a living and generally just use so.

Wow, that is some serious suckage with the flex-head RHFT the rest is just gravy. Those old snap on boxes are tanks and it will make a great home box for you. The Waterloo is a decent box as well IMO.

I'm already pretty deep in tool boxes, but that is officially my first snapon. So I'm pretty stoked about it. I'm actually going to use it as my road trip box, pack it full of tools for when I go to events with my lightning.

Nice score on the RHFT's. I have the 1/4 and 1/2, looking for the 3/8 version now.

Would love to find a coworker like that around here ;)

The only other flex-head RHFT ratchet I have seen in person belongs to a co-worker. I have tried unsuccessfully to buy/trade for it - even offering my Snap-on flex-head ratchet in exchange, but he won't budge. It belonged to his late grandfather (which I found out AFTER I made the offers).

Never seen a flex-head, you can bet if I ever see one out in the wild it's going to be following me home.

crafty items are pretty common around here. I usually see 1 of the rhft flex ratchets a year. I see alot of the 15" 1/2 craftsman ratchets around here as well.uploadfromtaptalk1469899793876.jpg
