I just picked up this hand held die grinder this morning with the original storage case. It runs perfectly, and appears to accept 1/8" grinding bits. Everything appears to be original, including the power cord and two prong Belden plug. Pretty much anything that fits into a standard Dremel will fit into this tool. What it doesn't have is an identification plate. I have no idea who built this or what era it is from. Oddly, the bar that fits into the threaded hole that you can clearly see in the second pic is there in the box, but it isn't a round bar. It's rectangular. Does anyone here know who may have built this die grinder, and what era it is from? I am guessing it was built in the 1940s or 1950s simply based on the design, but have no idea if I am even close to being right. 1000000753.jpg

Here it is with the handle attached. I've never seen one with a rectangular handle.
