Just started to restore another tool I stashed during my working years. This is a Harrah farm jack circa 50’s/60’s before they were called high lift.
Searched the net to find the function of the toothed cam attached to the nose, no luck.
Any ideas out there? Just dawned on me that it might work to clamp barbed wire for stretching.

I have such a jack in excellent condition for its age but alas the wire stretcher attachment is missing. I have asked many old timers if they have an old unused jack with the attachment, I could talk them out of. No luck so far.
