1EE959E5-7405-419C-96C4-A566BF4CDCCB.jpegBeen putting together a set of these knurled band sockets and accessories made by Husky back in the day. Anyone else have a collection going? Some of the serial numbers are mixed on what I have so far but they all have a knurled band on them.

So far I have:
sockets 1/2 Drive 7/16” thru 1-1/4”
Sliding T-Breaker Bar 9” long 1/2” drive
5” long 1/2 drive extension
10” long 1/2 drive extension

I've got this 1/2" drive set I picked off Ebay back in March. Set includes a H3183 female drive ratchet, H2700 7/16, H2701 1/2, H2702 9/16, H2706 3/4, H2707 13/16, H2708 7/8, H2709 15/16. I'm missing H2703, H2704 and H2705. Judging by how the pieces fit it appears I'm also missing at least an extension and possibly a drive plug. What series numbers are on your sockets, T bar and extensions?1000026572.jpg1000026573.jpg

All but 3 of the sockets I have start with CT which I believe to be newer than the set that you have.

The 3 that are different
1-1/4” H2929
7/8” H2708
13/16” H2707

The sliding T handle: H3884
9” extension: H2711
5” extension CS24

For me personally I was more concerned with having the knurled band and Husky logo match rather than the serial numbers as I’ll be using them for work rather than solely collection or show piece.

Your series starts circa 1959-1962 catalogs 102 and 103. I went through my excess stock of Husky sockets and I have some of what you may need:

A CS85 Speed brace, a CS43 ratchet,
CT-1228 7/8 to replace your H2708 and a CTD-28 7/8 Deep socket.

I've also have a variety of sizes in the knurled CT series but it looks like you've got just about all already.1000026574.jpg

I'd be interested in your sliding T handle H3884 and the H2711 9" extension.

Feel free to PM me...

Did I send you some oddball 1/4" drive NB stuff? :headscrat

I just acquired about 30 pounds of sockets, among which are some old cross-hatch-knurl Husky stuff like you've got there.
I need to sort through it all... it might come in handy for a few of you.

4cycle, I don't believe I got any NB from ya. I Don't have any NB set boxes and I've only got roughly 4 sockets in each 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 drive.

30lbs of sockets...drool!

I've currently got eight Husky box sets I'm trying to complete. Here's my spec sheet of needs.

The older 1/2" drive set (not listed on the sheet) I can't find any reference to tell me what should be in there so I'm interested in at least the 2703, 2704 and 2705 sockets that are missing and possibly a 1" (H2710?)socket (as it appears enough room to fit it in) and then any size breaker bar or extension in the H series.

I have all these was going to sell in a lot with a bunch of other older sockets feel free to message me if you need. I can be a little slow sometimes getting sidetracked with all the deals I get myself into but I'll try my best to get on it before I part with them in the lot.
