I am working out a swap with a friend who has an old Walker jack stand that I need to match the one I have. He has an old Weaver jack stand and needs a match for it. I can swap him if I find a Weaver stand for him.
I have attached a picture of the Weaver Jack stand we am looking for.

different.... is it forged steel or cast iron.. hope it's not cast... as the feet are mighty thin..

cool looking tho... sorry can't help...
that is a grade 8 bolt in sheer correct.. I'd hate to hear it was a box store 12 cent bolt

Buddy of mine has some jack stands his grandfather made out of a Model T differential housing. The sliding cradles are held in place with intake valves. Those intake valve stems have held up a crapload of cars over the last seventy years.
