Vintage Kennedy Base cabinet value

Hello all. I recently came upon this Kennedy base cabinet. I bought it to use but I have found out that is one of the first rolling cabinets made by Kennedy in 1941. Does anyone have an idea on its value? I may be better off selling it and buying a new cabinet? Thanks for your help. It is model 134RC. Wooden shelves in bottom will be removed.

It's really cool but i doubt you'd be able to get much for it. Maybe $100. Just my opinion.

Agree... $100 all day... Might be able to squeak another $20 if you wait for a taker. If you list it for $200... you will get almost zero takers.

If it fits your storage needs, use it. This is no 'holy grail' of tool storage, unless you find a signature on it somewhere, like Mauri Rose. Even then, how do you know he signed it? If it had a receipt from his estate sale, then maybe.

Leave the formica shelves in it, they make it easier to see what's in there as you make use of it for storage.

I don't know collectible value, but that added lock latch thing will probably reduce the collectible value. Welded on will leave a scar
