I was cruising around Amazon and found the above tonight. While it's certainly not as cool as a real vintage box, you can't beat the price... And it's perfect for a project...

Yeah, it was nice when all the tools came in sturdy metal boxes! Must be clearing them out since they went to tool bags and plastic cases now. Too bad I am sitting good on boxes or I would order a couple up!

I bought one when I got my 02346 Milwaukee drill, which I think has been a good investment. I'm happy with the quality of the case, and I'm pretty picky on things like this.

I bought one of these many years ago from Payless Cashways for about $5. Seems it was a box for a drill or something, it had a half round cradle spot welded to the bottom of it. I use it at the track for electrical stuff and carb stuff.

That's the same box my 1/2" Magnum Holeshooter hammer drill has. I hope Milwaukee doesn't discontinue those boxes, it's great to hold the drill and all the bits, plus there's room for a box or two of Redheads.

My 3/8" Magnum Holeshooter came with a box like that. Have another box sitting on the shelf for when I get the 1/2" version.

Only complaint that I have about them is that I wish it were a little longer to accommodate the drill's power cord more easily.
