Walked in a beat up old antique store the other day and about jumped out of my pants when I saw this on the wall. He knew what he had, won't sell it, clock works and the neon works. He said it is probably worth $2K. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Any info on it? What might the value actually be? I might have to visit him again a time or 2.1000008236.jpg

There was a Moore and Wright clock that sold on Ebay for $500.. imo it was more interesting.

That's a rare bird, so comps are going to be difficult to non existent, also bit of an obscure brand in the big scheme. I'd say 200-500 wag.

Very cool! What twitch said, though. "Probably" followed by any $$ number is just a weird thing to say in cases like this. Find as a much adjacent, similar precedence as you can (search "vintage [insert Mfgr's name here] advertising clock") and try to talk reasonably with him. Has it been rewired for an NEC code three-prong outlet? The face and hands look older than that. That doesn't ruin it, I'm having a neon Schlitz beer sign re-done for me as we speak. But if so, it's not like he has an original antique. Maybe already found and redone and displayed by someone like a retromod before he got it. Good luck. Cool piece.
