I am having a hard time finding any info on this vintage set of MAC sockets. They are 12 points, 3/4" drive...I have 17 sockets all together and the ratchet which measures 22" long and marked Z 2 R. They are all marked MAC SABINA.
They are in the OG box and in really good condition. HELP....Please.

Mac-Sabina is old, don't know exactly how old. Look on the Alloy Artifacts web page for history on them.

If what you are trying to find out is if they are collectable, not really. MAC is a fine tool, the Sabina, OH markings dates it as old ('50's or early '60's If I recall) but unless it is brand new, it is simply a set of nice sockets. Most people collect smaller stuff. Big stuff I don't think draws the attention.

Oddly the http://home.comcast.net/~alloy-artifacts/ web site in its Manufacturer Index does not list either MAC or Mechanics Tool and Forge Company (which is what MAC evolved from). Very odd.

Thought I heard on this site Wright used to make some of MAC sockets and tools. 3/4 drive is a great set to have.
