Vintage Mac tools and Matco Chests

Hey everyone,

I was looking for a little insight on some vintage tool chests I just purchased. 2 pieces are Mac tools and the other is Matco. I found the model number from Matco which was made in 78’ but I can’t find anything on the 2 Mac tools.. Does anyone know where the numbers would be located? I really appreciate it!!

I don't know anything about the boxes, but the Mac, with the whiskey drawer, is very cool.

Should be an MB510 top and a MB520 bottom. The top is stamped on one of the sides or in the top till. The bottom should be stamped on the bottom front frame rail (I am going from memory here, so may be a little off).

The mac should be very late 70's to early 80's
I got 2 of the top boxes and centre drawer section.
nice boxes for machinist tools or workshop consumables etc ...

Awesome thank you guys for all the help! I’m currently taking everything apart... drawers, slides etc. Going to give it a good cleaning but I’m not sure what to do about the paint? Want to keep it original and as is but try to bring some of the shine back! Any thoughts! Also I paid 300 for all 3... did I make out okay?

the 3 drawer is newer than the top and bottom.

drawer handle/pull changed sometime around the early 90's.
