Vintage Mac Tools Side Box

Vintage MacTools side box. Thinking it was maybe for screwdrivers, pry bars, and/or chisels? 16” wide 13” tall 5” deep. Any tips on getting a replacement key? No numbers I could make out.

It looks like a standard toolbox lock, you should be able to get a replacement at any hardware store.
