Hi all....
I picked up this 5 1/2" Massey vise recently. In my research here I'm seeing similar vises that say "Clincher" but mine does not? Just wondering if anyone can enlighten me further on perhaps the year of manufacture, or anything else for that matter. One curious thing I noticed is that the jaws are not perfectly level. I didn't even notice it until I got it home and it may not be obvious in these pics but they are off maybe 3-5 deg. It's the actual casting, not the jaw inserts. No biggie, I just have never noticed this on a vice before. It is about 100 years old though so.....
It's been refurbished obviously and works perfectly. I paid $250 for it.
