Does anyone know anything about this? I believe it is from the 1960's. I'm curious what its torque rating is. After a google search I couldn't find any reference to this tool, but it looks identical to the Snap-On EW475. One probably rebranded the other, but who knows which was the original.

this is all I've found so far


All three appear to be identical.

But based on your serial number you can age it up or down from Feb 1968

And here is a snippet view, saying a Proto HD can make 100 lb-ft, just to give you an order of magnitude for that era

a 1974 Construction Methods & Equipment Volume 56, Issues 7-12 showed 95 / 130 (again, not sure its a MKE, but the model number is close

Wow, I can't believe you found that! Good idea to look at similar impacts from the era to get an idea of a likely number.
