For sale asking 500.00 is this WW1 era lathe, it took me some time to get things tightened up and working, but everything works, feeds and speeds, back gears, Thread dial, leather belt was worn-repaird too many times, new belt, many extra pieces it came with the house. I made some thumb screws with it but I am no Lathehand or Machinest. Upgraded some tooling, I would not want to sell as a first lathe to anybody, I have experiance on modern machinery and know this one will Bite you, no brakes!. it is 49" on centers, has 1 3/8 through hole, steady rest. My shop I think would take top Grunge Garage award, for you collectors out there, Revited oil tanks with hand pumps, Big pole vice, cannon ball road flares, fuel torches, Iron Fireman coal stoker, Brass steam whistle for your door bell on compressed air ect. Tuff economy in small rural town in N. N.M. Been scraping to pay the bills.
