Any chance at all parts are available for these ratchets? Inside looks good near as I can tell, pretty simple unless I am missing something, main pawl, two shifting locks, and a "W" shaped spring (the part I need), any ideas appreciated
Yep, pretty much like that, its in great shape inside but that "W" shaped spring is broken. I am going to take a shot at making a coil or two at the bottom "V" shaped type of spring out of some piano wire and see what happens. I don't need to use this dinosaur but was hoping to make it work. Thanks for the response
10-4 i make my springs if I can't find something else that I can modify.
Start collecting the little springs out of ball point pens that run dry before you toss them. Those little doers come in handy for all sorts of projects.
