Vintage Nupla

I have a Nupla ball peen hammer(green rubber handle)that was my dad’s when he was a line mechanic(late 50s-60s). The handle is really bad but I love to use it. I have looked for a replacement and missed ONE.
I could put a wooden handle on it but it just seems sacrilege.
Any ideas?

I have seen the current replacements, I may have to stop using it until I find an old fiberglass green rubber handle one to take its place.
Just don’t care for the new ones.
