I have some union 76 purple triton cardboard cans and the oil is still in them. Must be from 80’s. They are in pristine shape.
My dad owned a 76 station and saved these.
Are they worth more with oil?
They have been closed up in a cabinet for over 30 years. No fading
Straight off the shelves to storage

I’ve been using up a stash of Wolf’s Head that I ran across some years ago. There may be collectors out there, but I’m not going to hunt them up.

Very cool not sure anybody still has the spout to open them! I actually still remember those cans. I'm sure there is some collector value they'd look great in somebody's man cave lol.

I found part of a case of Mobil quarts when we moved recently. I still have a couple of spouts, too. I think I paid 39 cents a quart for the oil at Farm and Fleet way back when.

P66 has Triton engine oils... interesting.

Sold ~1200 gallons of 15w40 and 5w40 this week.

Can anyone tell me if the can on the right (See pics) is an actual Eagle 66? I have another eagle 66 which has the part number on the cap but this very similar can just has "eagle" Stamped. Also there are a few differences, crimped base, shorter, different trigger mechanism. The internals are the same on both.

Is this possibly a predecessor?

Also note the label, which I believe is just where it was sold from.

^ outboard / 2-cycle oil is a huge market. I remember working the Tillicum store on the 4th of July one year - only thing we sold all day was road flares and 2-cycle oil. (The store was only a few blocks from the boat ramp at American Lake.)
