Found this cool "telescoping" rolling stool mfd. by Pedigo from Huntington Beach, CA. My guess is 1950s? The height is adjusted by spinning the seat and running the threaded shaft up or down from about 16" overall height up to about 27.5" overall. Original vinyl seat is intact, and save for some surface rust to the chrome legs, is in overall very good condition. Searched Pedigo on the Vintage Tool Discussion. Nothing found. Has there been a thread for such stools before?

Could also be a old school drafting stool. I remember sitting on similar stools in high school, college and my first few years of hand drafting. Ahhhh.... those were the days.

Found out that Pedigo is still in business, and Provincial is correct that medical is the core of their business, but they also make barstools, and a variety of industrial and foodservice carts.

Yup, we buy their stuff for our clean rooms, definitely pricey, but good quality. I don’t know that they’ve changed enough in the construction to date them, maybe the logo.
