A friend of the family recently retired after working on heavy equipment. Having a soft spot for Vintage Plomb tools, I had always looked his set of Plomb 3/4 ratchets, breaker bar and almost complete set of sockets from 3/4 to 2&1/8. We came to a fair price. Gotta figure out where the box came from as well. More pics later.

The one I got is a 5668, all round. The above was my first success at posting pics here. Do you know anything about Plomb toolboxes?

Not much - the few ones which I saw on the board were different from the one you have. Look through the vintage PLOMB thread
https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=135342&page=529

Can you make few more pictures of your box? For some reason it reminds me of a smaller Blackhawk (at least the front)

My 3/4 set came in original box (missing few sockets there as well). Sorry, no top pictures yet - too dirty and rusty

P.S. Post your set on the PLOMB vintage board - somebody may recognize box as well.

I’ll take a look. It matches a Plomb on Etsy or something. I’ll try to post more pics, but posting as the OP was easy, adding, not so much.
