I have a set of P&C 1/2" drive deep sockets that I purchased at an estate sale awhile back. They are practically new and I want to keep them as a collectible. The sizes are 1/2" thru 1-1/4. I would like to find, if possible, a 7/16" to complete the set. After looking at a P&C catalog from 1966, I don't believe that they made a 7/16 but I seem to recall seeing an older Proto version on Ebay a few months ago. These sockets have the small holes near the bottom to insert a round bar. Does anyone know if Proto or any of the other related brands such as Penens or Plomb in fact offered a deep 7/16 that I could use as a substitute? I have a Proto 7/16 socket but it's a new one, not vintage like I need to satisfy my COD. I'd appreciate any leads.
