I have been buying my dad vintage ratchets for gifts, and his birthday is coming up at the end of next month. I would like to add another one to his collection. If you have anything other than what is pictured below that you would be willing to sell or work out a trade for please let me know.

Thanks

Is your request limited to vintage/military Snap-on rats or would he enjoy any and old quality rats?

Those are just the ones I have found for him so far, I would not consider myself limited at all as long as they are good quality and not in horrible shape. I would like one of the old Craftsman circle H ratchets with the exposed teeth but haven't seen the right deal come along yet. Please send pics of anything you think would fit the bill, I assure you im not that picky.

Unless I'm having a major brain-fart, I have never seen an exposed-tooth Craftsman ratchet (and I have seen a LOT of Craftsman ratchets).

Can you post a photo or a link to such an animal?

I saw a 1/4" exposed-tooth Craftsman ratchet (I think it was a Circle H) at a yard sale a while back. I wanted it and some of the other stuff in the box BAD, but the lady would only sell the whole box for $20. There was mostly a bunch of ChiCom **** in there and I couldn't pay that much just to get the few things I did want. :(

A Williams S52 would make a fine gift. Proto/Plomb or SK made (and continue to make) cool ratchets many years ago. Maybe not as desirable as Snap-On, but in my opinion they're all worthy candidates for addition to a collection of top-line vintage rats.
