That's a great find, SK is very nice and the metal boxes are brilliant.
Wow! Original hammered green finish in mint condition. It doesn't get any better than that!
S-K was bought by Dresser Industries in 1969, and they held it until 1985 (when they sold S-K to FACOM). The headquarters was in Chicago until early in 1971, so, the tools are dateable to within two years. The catalog is after 1971 (i.e Franklin Park).
The older box with the gold and red logo is a bit tougher to nail down. Maybe 1940's? Though the sockets in that box look like Dresser era.

The red and gold is diamond or sherman klove era or pre Wayne era or the original s-k before it was bought out for the first of many times. I cant remember exact dates but for some reason I think pre 1953 will have to check catalogue dates.
