New addition to my garage, old Sacem drill.
Still have to give it a place.

Nice! The "T" slot table is sweet. I like the art nouveau belt guard. It looks a lot like some of the old the ones we see on this continent.

Hi, I have no clue. Bought it cause I liked the design a lot but don't know anything more about it.

Not a make I have heard of before but it looks nice, got slots in the spindle so it probably has an internal taper in there, which is useful to have as a lot of the smaller drills only have an external taper the chuck fits on. Looks like the table is fixed flat, doesn't have the ability to rotate to drill on an angle.
Is the column solid or tube? What is the speed range?

Still have to look at it closer to answer all your questions :).
It's a MK2 cone I believe.

Had a closer look at the drill. The column is tube and the table can't be rotate.

Its Italian, explains why it looks so good, its got good features for a drill of that size, I like built in lights too, so much neater than a work lamp screwed on the side.
Should be very useful and run twist drills up to 13mm or so without difficulty.

Nice, thanks for the information.
Did you find something about age or other interesting info or did you saw it on the 'tag'?

Nice drill! I didn't realize they made smaller tools as well.
I used to run a Sacem horizontal boring mill. 1967 vintage.
Great machine, but cost me most of the hearing in my right ear. We weren't as concerned about PPE back then.

No guarantee they made it either, plenty small machine tools out there you find with different names on, its only got name plates on it, not cast in.
