hey guys. i hate asking questions online, but i will say that ive spent hours already trying to figure out what brand this screw driver is, using google and ebay as a tool.. i'm usually really savy with identifying tools. as id like to locate and buy a complete set of them. closest matches have been bridgeport or bell. neither are the same however. one person suggested that the reason why i cant identify it, is because its really worn down. the shape of the handle seams too consistent to me, to appear worn down. handle is square in shape with rounded edges and a taped shaft end where it meets the handle are the two most features that stand out. its a good quality piece. any info would be appreciated.287715883_4596809047088640_2046808235114818039_n.jpg

I'd have bought that one too. I don't know who made it though. The one in front of it in the first picture looks like a MAC screwdriver, made in Sabina, Ohio. I like those.

This is just speculation on my part, but the flair at the base of the blade where it enters the handle looks remarkably like many kinds of tang chisels. It might be that a search for tang chisels with a plastic square profile handle might turn up a close enough geometry to iodentify the brand. Just a thought....

Stanley would be a strong candidate as suggested by others. Stanley indeed made tang chisels for many decades, and so it would be natural that the same design philosophy for the base of the blade where it meets the handle might have likely been applied to this screwdriver.
