Vintage screw driver indentification

Hello tool guys . I have a lot of tools some of which date to the 1860's. this tool as pictured !I assume to be an old screw driver. Pardon my ignorance if wrong. I would like help identifying it ,no makers mark or patents . I have lots of wood handled screwdrivers and research shows some similar style but none with as many curves and such. I am a wrench guy and plead ignorance on this tool and would love help .thanks Slack

A lot of that type were English, and they called them turnscrews.

^ yeah. British design, primarily. Probably great for turning old brass wood screws in a cabinet.

Lovely and ornate turnscrew. Unfortunately, may be impossible to ID with no markings.

Looks like a lovely old English cabinet screwdriver.. The flats on the handle help stop it rolling off the bench and sticking into your foot! They still make similar ones here, although not as ornate. Have a look at:
