Vintage Sign Help

Hi Guys
I have been on the look out for things for my soon to be built Garage. A friend gave me this sign that came off a ski doo dealership that had closed. I tried to wipe it clean with a DRY paper towel and the black logo on the sign is coming off what can I do as I want to keep this sign in the best possible shape. The size is 5'w x 3'h

My best friend TERRA also wanted to be in the picture

any idea what i can do ?

I use mild dish soap and then oil the sign...but that is on vintage porcelain signs... good luck

Is the yellow sprayed over black. If it is the paint would have to be removed and the face redone.

The sign is yellow with black sprayed to give the logos

My thought was it would have to be repainted to save it
