That would depend on your location and presence of somebody who really needs one for a collection.

If you don't know what it is worth, why would a prospective buyer tell you? Ebay sold listings is probably your best bet. Otherwise, take a stab in the dark, and if it doesn't sell, your priced it too high.

Matt, your set is No. 212 with the optional No. 2-B case.
Here is a snip from an old catalog from the Collecting Snap-on website:

Some of those early tools were cadmium plated instead of chrome. I am not sure about yours, but to be safe wash your hands after handling, and avoid any cleaning abrasives, which in addition to being toxic, will also compromise the value.
@snapmom may be able to advise better on which plating yours might have.

A similar set sold on eBay recently for $300 that was of newer vintage, missing the long extension, and the box had been repainted.
I would value your set at $500 if the patina is original, the ratchet is not damaged and the box is in good shape.

Just remember, value doesn't determine interest.

Thanks for stopping by. Its always good to see new members join and welcome to the board.

I'd enjoy helping you go through the DOE wrenches, Matt. Just lay them out flat in rows and columns, take a photo, flip them all over in the exact same place, and take another photo. Not going to get your expectations up, I leave behind 49 out of every 50 wrenches I see in the wild, but you never know, you might have a keeper or two in there.

That's a nice prewar hip roof carry box.

It's hard to see most of the markings, but these all look like fairly common wrenches made by Fairmount, Vlchek, Williams and the like with thick shanks and robust round heads characteristic of carbon steel of the 1920s and 1930s, Matt. Same for the Ford wrenches. Someone into tank/utility wrenches may like the triple open end, or that Billings "S" wrench - the one with the black shank and polished faces with S.A.E. and Hex Cap bolt size markings (if they have a board, for example, and need that one), but even those aren't high value.

I am interested in knowing if there are any markings on the other "S" wrenches. Look in the middle of the shank on both sides and the faces of the jaws. The ones I have circled in red here...
