Hey everyone!
I picked up this little haul with a bunch of other stuff at a local flea market/junk shop type seller. He sometimes has the same stuff over and over, but when he gets new stuff it's a riot to look through! I saw the cool little box on a table, and then realized it was full of stuff. As I looked, I realized there was quite a bit of snap on. I didn't dog too deep because I saw enough to make it worth my time, and I made a package deal with quite a few other items as well.
When I got it home, I found it to be a lot more snap-on that I had I initially thought! I then found out that the box is also a vintage snap-on! I have what seems like a complete (or very close to it) 9/32 set.. there is also the old-school 3/8 breaker with the female end in the handle.
My plan was to pick it up and keep the box to do a minor restoration on and a few of the tools I took a liking to, and try to sell the rest to make up for it. This summer was pretty crazy for me, and the box ended up getting put in my basement shop and untouched until now. I'll update with better pictures and details as I get into it!
I'm disappointed that the old midget PLVMB screwdrivers are toast.. They would have been a sweet little find.
One of my favorite things is the little Blue-point set in the leather case.
