Found this on craigslist and sent the girl an email. I'm on the fence about picking this up because I'm in the midst of trading a welder for a similar snap-on bottom box but not as wide. Is this worth $350?

Also I've never moved a box this size, I assume it'll be heavier than rosie o'donnell at a pie eating contest. Should two people be able to lift it into a truck bed or should I just rent a moving truck with a loading ramp?
Thanks!

im guessing if it where empty and just the bottom box it should weigh around 300 pounds? or so. SO do you think you can handle that? get the lowest truck you can and use your legs.

That is a pretty good deal on that box. I would ****** that right up.

Two people should be able to get it on a pickup truck as long as you both have some 'man strength'.

I have moved ALL of my boxes by myself with a pickup truck. It is a pain, but can be done if you remove all the drawers.

Thanks for the responses. I'm trying to bribe my friend with beer if he'll help me out. If I go solo I'll just pull the drawers or rent a moving truck.
I'm rummaging through images.google.com and the snap-on site trying to find the model of the box or what year it's from...it doesn't seem so vintage but I am not wise in the ways of snap-on

Looks freakin' awesome man! I love the "broken" in look with a couple stickers, some faded/chipped paint, etc.

Get a couple of pieces of carpet to lay the boxes on in the back of your truck. That'll make it easy to slide 'em around and protect both the truck and box.
