Vintage Snap On Box ID help

I recently bought these two Snap On boxes.
Did Snap On stamp an ID code into these red label boxes as they did the later models? I’ve been looking with a flashlight but cannot find one.
I assume these are late 50s? I am planning a strip, clean and repaint and put to use in my shop.
Any info shared is much appreciated.

Late 40s early 50s. No date stamp until mid 50s.

Those things look great just as they are. I would just clean them up, give them some polish and call it a day.

I have the same stack. Late 40s/early 50s is spot on.

I cleaned up the top box but left the bottom one alone for now. I will eventually restore the bottom box but if I had to do it all over again I would have just left the top box alone and left the stack in, "as found" condition.

The Snap On dealer was even able to order keys at a very reasonable cost. I was going to paint but decided to just clean up and lube the slides and use as is. It has such nice quality and craftsmanship compared to what is available.
I removed the bottom drawer and found some early 50s Ford carburetor gaskets and jets crushed up against the back corner.
