Vintage Snap On Case Question

Good Morning Everyone!

I've got a small collection of 1958 (?) Snap On ratchets and socket collection growing and was looking for a case. Did they make a case for ratchets and sockets beside a ferret case? I'm just trying to collect a small basic set of sockets not over 3/4" for them. If I remember correctly i'm missing a 7/16" flex socket. Currently odds and ends on the sockets but will eventually grow them. :sneaky:

Guidance and knowledge is appreciated on the case!

Wow! I bet that took some time to collect! My ratchets were '58 and and my OCD won't let me mix and match. It's a curse! Funny thing is i use them sparingly and not sure why. There's not a chrome patch on the ratchets except my 1/2" and my flex sockets. Take a while but slow and sure wins the race i guess.

What is the model on the Toolbox?

Agree with Oldtuleguy - wait and you might get it at a good price.
I got lucky in 2018 - got KRA 250 for $9 (sin handle) . Tynee pointed me towards Snap On customer service and I got a handle for $13.49 (that's before they started charging for shipping)

...Interesting - the guy I bought it from eventually started reselling tools - I saw him list multiple tools later

Be patient they show up cheap occasionally. I found mine locally an craigslist for like 20$
since i got out of wheelchair many years ago, i left patience behind with it. Lately I'm having to relearn it. getting old blows. lol

I will look though. I've seen them before but could remember their number. I look a the vintage sand on thread thinking they might show up but haven't saw one.

Fb50 just stood for ferret box 50 . Kra stands for Kenosha red something. Can't remember the a... probably the first letter of where it was made.

Funnily enough I am also collecting 1958 Snap On tools. I’m completing a set my grandfather owned. I’ve been using this small Ferret set from the 1958 catalog to “build” my collection.

If I understand Oldtuleguy, the KRA 250 is the box i'll be building from. I hope to complete before i get in the pine box.:D
