vintage snap-on help

So, I got this from my girlfriend dad yesterday....he not a handy man. It looks like an old snap on Ratchet And Socket Set. Does anyone know what is missing or what should have come with this set? I'm going to clean and repaint the box, there is nothing on but snap on.

I'd leave the box the way it is.

That looks like a 3/8" set. The complete set would be shallow sockets up 7/8", a ratchet, braker bar, speeder, tee bar, a u joint and seceral extensions. I think 18 piece in total. SO still sells the same set minus the tee bar.

I was thinking of doing what 930dreamer said and leave the box only and just get all new tools to put in there.
