Vintage Snap-On Klamp Klaw Sockets

I picked up a set of old Snap on Klamp Klaw sockets and I was wondering if anyone had seen them before? They look to be super old and only the case says snap on. I paid maybe $20 for them more or less as a novelty. Are they worth anything?[/ATTACH][/ATTACH]

I have a set too, have seen them with other makers name too. Hard to find. But not to much demand.

I've only seen an empty box one time. They were supposed to be used to hold the bolt/nut like a magnetic socket. Of course you can use the old timers trick of just wedging a small piece of newspaper in a regular socket and achieve the same thing.

I think you've paid what they're worth. I would have grabbed them for 20 and I'm pretty cheap.

Date codes are on the socket. Just match the picture to the year.
