Found this laying around the garage. Snap On is not an area of interest for me, so I know very little about the tools. This socket is six point, possibly an impact. It does not have anywhere near the range of motion I have seen other SO swivel sockets have. Very little pivoting capability... maybe for strength. It looks older, but I'm not sure on the vintage, production, specific use, etc... so Here I am:

Pics are below... If anyone would want this feel free to send me a PM and we can work something out... I would have posted this to the Classifieds, but I know nothing about it.

Thanks for the help guys,
StevenFl.

I know the snapon buffs are out there... Or are they all laughing because this is a standard socket?

PU stands for heavy industrial tool, power nut drivers. So yes, it is an impact socket. Can't tell you the year since I didn't see a date symbol in your pictures.

No, not a snap-on buff, just have the FU version of those sockets.

Thanks for the info guys, I looked for a date code...but to no avail. The info on the logo helps... Is there anyone looking for sockets like this?
