Vintage snap on tool thing

This is for sale locally for $30. Snapon embossed in the top drawer. Did it originally have lower doors or has it been monkeyed with? Its the seller's blurry picture. Worth saving?

Looks like a modified K-70 from the 1930s. For 30 bucks I'd already have it home.
