So my old garage door lock just blew a spring, more of a clip, that retracts the bars when the key unlocks it. It broke and ricocheted around so I don't know where it fit. I assume on the cam that pushes and pulls the bars? Could anyone post a pic of what it's supposed to look like, or if they have a spare for sale.IMG_0405.jpgIMG_0404.jpgIMG_0411.jpg

Welcome to the Forum from the shore of San Diego Bay.
Sorry but I don't have a spring for you. Google is your friend, maybe Overhead Door, if they are still in business, can connect you to a local dealer or service shop.

First, can you find the other part?
If you can, then can you inspect the lock to see where the spring goes and what direction does the spring make things move.

You can get spring wire and with some proactive you can wind and bent a new spring.

Also, if you know what direction the spring makes things move then can you modify to convert to linear action springs to do the same action?
