This beauty was left to me by a recently passed friend.
So it's special on two counts.

10A input at 120VAC translates to 100A at 12 VDC (assuming 100% efficiency)
The name plate says 50A at 12VDC.

That's what I get for skimming the picture! I was thinking 10A output.

Nice one, and you can use it being 12V. Some of the cool old ones are 6 volt only so not very useful these days.

That's a great old school battery charger. I have an old Sun BC-360 that is very similar to the OP's charger. Mine was given to me over 30 years ago by my boss (at the time). He wanted to get rid of it because it didn't work. I replaced the selenium rectifier with modern diodes and it's worked great ever since.
