Found this piece in the garbage in my neighborhood on trash day. Super cool piece that we are thinking of sanding and restraining. Also since the bottom of the legs are crusty we had the idea of cutting it down to coffee table height. Any and all advise on sanding, staining, and cutting legs is appreciated. I am handy but don’t work with wood often.

Watched a few YouTube videos. Going to attempt to cut the legs at 18” and see what happens. I created a cutting jig and support brackets after I cut each leg.

Formed the jig, bought a dove tail saw and took my time. All in all I am very pleased for a non wood guy. 9bc433c574e49bd34078d4ecdb630c99.jpgadd4068a58896278856065362c4815c7.jpg0dfc8fb2d247aeabf8b52c02d5b2e4e7.jpg7a015b317da8d632070122708e8779ed.jpg
