I like the new vintage tool discussion thread,its what brought me to GJ.
I wanted to post these again in this section as they flew off the General tool discussion thread. Does anyone know what these tongs were used for? I am stumped. Thanks
Marty: i thought you might like this new section. how big are your tongs? looks like something a blacksmith would use, but i can't tell the size and not sure what for.

Marty: being that long i'd say whatever was held in the grip might have had a fire hitting it so blacksmith might be the source of your investigation. where did you find it?
