Hello. I recently bought two vintage tool boxes and know little about them. One is a 11 drawer proto with the 6 drawer topper with 2 - 80 stamped at the bottom which I assume that means it was made in Feb of 1980. I cant seem to find any other numbers on it. The other is a craftsman 9 drawer dated 1975 model 65039. I researched both and was only really able to find info on the craftsman and that it is rare. The both seem like really nice quality tool boxes. I only want to keep one which would be the most valuable.....thoughts???

I would say their value is pretty much even. I'm pretty sure the proto box was made by Waterloo, which is who made the craftsman. The proto might fetch a little more to a proto guy looking for a proto box. The craftsman box I would not consider rare since it was one of craftsmans main boxes for over 10 years.
