Bought a hundred or so loose random tools from the local junk store. Took me several hours to sort through the thousands of tools in the trays. Around 50 cents per tool. Mostly wrenches and sockets. Some pliers, feeler gauges, punches. Brands represented: Williams, Billings, Pennens, Bonney, Cornwell, Herbrand, Hazet, Gedore, Lectrolite, Fleet, Barcalo Buffalo, Plumb for the wrenches. Sockets included Craftsman BE and H series, Blackhawk, Fleet, Husky, Snap On, Cornwell etc. Punches and cold chisels, Snap on, Bluepoint. I'm cleaning a lot of them up in Evaporust.

Will do. Away visiting the GF for valentine's day. Let you know specifics when I get back.

Thank you, sir.

And, you mean to tell me, in all those wrenches there isn't a single Crescent brand offset box wrench for my tool board? :headscrat

Sorry, no Crescent wrenches. Not so many Fleet wrenches either but quite a few sockets. Honestly never heard of this brand. They seem pretty well made.

Sorry, out of town for a few days. Not too many SO items. 3 punches and one socket.

Here are some photos taken earlier of another haul from the same junk shop. I'd share the other days photos but I'm out of town for a few days and a few of you want to see photos.

i wouldn't buy that rusty junk.......

my hands only get the cleanest, most expensive tools that are out there....

Beggars can't be choosers. When a tool is from the 20's or 30's era there is not much out there. That is what evaporust is for.

Judging by his username Flathead Youngin', I have a feeling that his new tools only statement had more than a little scarcasim attached to it LOL. Nice haul BTW

yeah, i'm kiddin'....

if you look in my box, it's a hodge podge of flea market and swap meet stuff.....

i'd probably have to take anti-rejection medication for my hands if they held a new tool...

Sorry! I should have read more carefully into the subtleties of your wording.

Yes there are some Fleets in there. I don't have any real desire to hold onto them so they are yours if you want them. PM me if you want. I don't have any vintage ratchets so if you are still interested in some kind of trade let me know.
