I have a tool here that came with the house i purchased a couple years ago. i am assuming that it is some sort of tool to clean drains out? is this worth anything? i am cleaning the garage out and am looking to unload a few things.

The second image is a drill press fence that came with a vintage Delta drill press (40s/50s). I saved this when i got rid of the press. Any info on this type of attachment? approximate worth?

thanks

Yes, that is a snake used to go into the sewer line from the toilet. I have one I loan out so my good stuff doesn't get lost.

I wouldn't get rid of it. If the previous owner had it in the house, it was there for a reason. You may need it later. It doesn't take up much room, I'd just stick it back on the nail on the wall and forget about it until your septic tank clogs.

Keep that drain snake. It can save your *** if a drain clogs late at night. I have a smaller version just like that for sink and tub drains and rarely ever use it but its nice knowing its there.

Keep the drain snake and you will never need it. Throw it away and you will need it tomorrow and cannot find one anywhere. I bought one 45 years ago, still have it and have only used it once, but have loaned it out several times.
