Your 1/4" drive Bonney socket set is from around 1963 to 1967. The ratchet is a Herbrand crossover/clone/copy. Most Bonney ratchets went to roundhead design in the 60's. Here's a Herbrand ratchet that shows the similarities.

Peeb, the top two pairs of pliers are Glass pliers.

... and these are 'Gas Pliers'! The shorter ones date from late 80's / early 90's! The longer ones are older!

Originally used for gas fitting, but so useful for general tasks I keep a pair in my main box and another in my 'road box'!

Great for removing stubborn hoses, but loads of other uses!
