I'm curious as to if anyone knows how to go about finding out the value of older tools. Particularly an older lathe. I hear and seen very little information that some people collect items like this. Even if its not a collectors item, I would like to figure out its value regardless. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

As larry g said, check Ebay "sold" items. With a lathe or any machine tool, not only condition is important, but the amount of tooling being sold with the basic lathe. If you buy a bare machine, the price paid later for chucks, collets, cutting tools, etc can quickly exceed the price paid for the lathe itself.
