I have a garage full of my Dad's old tools. I would like to sell them to someone that will appreciate them and not resell them for scrap. I have, Plomb, Williams, Snapon, Proto, Sears, Craftman and Molyedenum and more. Any Ideas?

If you call me at 760-953-5321, there's a good chance I will buy most everything you have, if your price is fair. I only deal in cash.

I always buy more than I need or will ever use. Then I clean it up, if needed, and add to my various collections: Plomb, Proto, S-K, Snap-On, old Craftsman, Williams, and some of the "forgotten" tools from the past: Utica, Kraeuter, Bonney, Armstrong, Pexto, etc. (even though they are still made today).

I haven't sold anything. Just collecting, preserving and storing for now. If there's something you need, I probably have it.

Dan Schmidt, Indio.
About 1 hour east of Norco.

Dan, if you reconsider putting your full name and phone number out here publicly, let me know and I will delete it for you. Or you can actually probably just edit it yourself. Just wondering if you want it on the net forever. Maybe you could PM or e-mail the OP.

If you have any vintage/early Proto Los Angeles or Plomb tools, I am interested. I think you are in the right place. The forgotten tool brands have friends here. Many of us just pick up those old tools to save them from being melted down, so even tools that aren't Snap-On have fans and collectors (and users, like me). Posting an ad in the Classified section on this site with some photos would be a good start to finding new homes for your father's old tools.
