This is a big pocket knife made by Ulster Knife Co. from Ellensville, NY. the overall length, opened is about 10" and it has 4" of blade surface, closed length is about 5" It has a wooden handle. Only a knife blade, no other implements.
Fun story on this one, this is from the same estate clean out as the other things I've listed recently and the knife was in the leather pouch underneath a drawer in the kitchen and we didn't notice it until we pulled the drawer all the way out. I bet it was under that drawer since at least 1967, which was the date of the Hartford Courant newspaper it was sitting on top of. I know Ulster did some scout knives, so maybe this is something similar, although being only a single blade cuts away from it being a scout knife as well.
Comes with a red leather holder, no markings on that so not sure if it is original or not.
Asking $15 shipped, lower 48
With a fine IPA for size comparison...
