This thing is so rad… I mean, there is nothing convenient about these early lifts and I’m sure there should be some safety considerations taken, but I can’t imagine a better looking lift in your shop if you wrench on early cars. I know I’d just about kill for one.

Matt has a YouTube channel as shown in the clip Ryan posted, called Iron Trap Garage. He posts three times per week, Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

The subject is traditional hot rods. If you’re into that, I suggest you subscribe to his channel.

We used to have one of these in my dads shop. He moved in, in 64 and i think it had been there a while. I also came across one in upstate NY a few years back

Based on Matt's videos, this one started out somewhere in the Ford manufacturing plant in Detroit. Extra cool.

He purchased it with the 32 roadster he bought about a year ago or so.

That's a nice clean one. I had one of those set up on a slab in my backyard at my old place. It was silver, green and rust. Getting the cables synched was the hardest thing. Windy days had entertainment value, too. Big cars would get a bit tippy. It was great for pulling transmissions, and brake n tire work.

We had one somewhat like this in the oil spray shop I worked in in the other bay was a old single post lift. The shop was originally a full service gas station probably dating back into the 30's.
