It's great when they do special packaging like that with products. It sits on the shelf because nobody buys it ,then the item usually gets put on clearance for a much cheaper price.

Ill have to buy some. I can't stand the new style sprayer thing they have on the new cans. Ive been replacing them with the old style with the straw when I buy a new one.

I saw a newer style can the other day that was the largest aerosol can of WD-40 I've ever seen... it had to be at least 40 ounces. It was i nthe back of someone's truck in the mall parking lot, or I would have picked it up and looked at it closer. I didn't have my phone with me so I couldn't take a picture of it either.

cheap ******* is right the Coke bottled in Mexico does taste better. Now if Mt Dew would just show up in glass bottles again I think I'd be damned happy. Anybody remember when Mt Dew was bottled by 'The Mt Dew Bottling Co. Vincennes Indiana ' ?

Kosher for Passover coke comes out each year around March-April on the east coast and is also made with real sugar and not high fructose corn syrup. Last year they also had diet coke and sprite.

Coke and Sprite taste better outside the USA. We went to some islands for our honeymoon, and the sprite tasted so much fresher with a more natural lemoney taste.

Just get the SuperTech 2000 stuff from WalMart. Exact same stuff as WD40, cheaper and comes in the old style can with a straw.

why would you dislike such a great improvement? Do you prefer losing those stupid straws?

No, I can't say that Ive ever lost any straws. When I use the new can it ends up leaking all over the place. I usually rip that thing off and put one of the white push caps on.

Home depot had contractor packs of WD40 (6 cans) on clearance for $6. I bought 2 boxes (12 cans).. Should have bought the whole display case.. They were all gone the next day I went to check.

The new straw design is awesome.. Have very rarely had a problem with it and I go through a ton of WD40. I never even tried to save those old straws. It was impossible after a couple uses.

WD-40 isn't my lubricant of choice but I picked up a 2-pack of regular cans with the fancy straw top at Lowes last week because it had a $10-off-$50 coupon in it. I saw the old-and-new twin pack at Advance when it came out and it was expensive. Haven't seen them loose.

I've been around since the older style can but I sure don't recall it, maybe it is because I didn't use it back then.

Funny how we see things so different.
I think that folding straw contraption WD40 has come out with is the best thing since sliced bread.

wow you never lose straws? i have a little container with about thirty straws in it i have as spares. Trick from my mentor. Nothing more frustrating then having one of those straws, from any can, go flying off into the wild blue yonder.

Probably been through about a dozen cans of the new stuff. Never had one leak on me. Might want to try another can. ;)

I know. I was trying to figure it out yesterday and ended up shooting oil all over the garage wall and bench.

I agree. What I have heard from some folks that like the old cans is that the straws are smaller in diameter and and get into tighter areas. I've saved all my old straws and granted, they are smaller and great for things like key holes, etc. But if you put the old straw into the nozzle of the new cans, it work just like the old ones. Best of both worlds.
