I have a old jack I used to pull heavy transmission years ago. We bought it in the early 70's, I do remember that. We paid $1000 back then which was a lot of money but it was used a lot.

The seal is leaking at the lever you use to raise the jack.

I cannot find a model on this thing and the best I remember I had it looked at back in the early 90's. I was told there was no more that could be done other than replacing the cylinder.

The pump and cylinder is one part. Any suggestion on where I might find info on this vintage jack.

Here are some pictures. Thanks

Many such seals can usually be replaced. Maybe pull it apart and see what's in there.
