Ok so I need some help. I just bought a new property and it has a shop(I’ll start a build thread on its soon) and it has a Westinghouse speed heater model WG75F in it. It’s in good shape and I’d like to get it working. I’ve completely re-wired the shop and now I need to get this thing going. I’ve searched and searched and can’t find anything on it. Let me know what you guys think.

Like as not needs the pilot and burner cleaned (shop vac?) and the pilot lit.
That being said....unless/until you inspect the heat exchanger for cracks, it is unsafe to operate due to it's age and the proclivity for this vintage heater to have issues in that area based on my personal experience.
So....my advice would be to call your favorite HVAC professional to come out, take a gander, get it lit, and fire it off. Best case...all goes smooth and you are good-to-go. Worst case, he red tags it and tells you not to use it.
See....the worst case if you DON'T do it that way is you are killed by CO poisoning...and we'd miss you here on GJ....so there.
